GSCB is a friendly community band comprising around 35 woodwind, brass and percussion players. We do not audition members, but we strive to maintain and improve a high standard. We perform several concerts a year, including formal Spring and Christmas concerts as well as outdoor concerts at Wallingford Castle and Henley and Forbury Bandstands.We also play for local fetes and other events throughout the summer.

GSCB also has a Starter Band for those young in age and/or young at heart who are looking to gain (or develop) experience of playing in a group. The Starter Band is led by Claire Salmon, and currently has around 40 musicians.
