The Goring and Streatley Concert Band is a friendly community band of around 55 woodwind, brass and percussion players of a wide range of ages and abilities. We perform several concerts a year, including formal Spring and Christmas concerts, as well as outdoor concerts at venues such as Wallingford Castle and Henley Bandstand.

Goring and Streatley Concert Band members meet to rehearse at the Goring Community Centre every Monday evening at 7:45pm.

Goring and Streatley Starter Band:

We also have a starter band for those young in age and/or young at heart who are looking to gain (or develop) experience of playing in a group. The starter band is led by Claire Salmon, and currently has around 40 regular players. New members are always welcome and we meet in the Goring Community Centre from 6:30pm to 7.30pm on Monday evenings during term time. More information on the starter band can be found here.

After a busy 2015 we're looking forward to our 2016 engagements schedule. More information about any of our future engagements can be found on our Concert Dates page here.

Spring Concert - Saturday 23rd April 2016 at Benson Parish Hall:

After holding our 2015 Spring Concert in Benson Parish Hall for the first time, we will be playing here again in 2016! The concert will feature the main Concert Band and the Starter Band playing both individually and together. This is an opportunity to see a combined band of around 100 players and is not to be missed. A wide and varied programme awaits. Tickets are available from Inspirations in the Arcade, Goring and from Denny's Den in Benson. We look forward to seeing you!
